Every year, hundreds of children in Elgin County are taken into care by Family and Children's Services - St. Thomas & Elgin. Too often these neglected or abused children don't know what it is like to be safe, spend a carefree day swimming at camp, or the pure energy and excitement of hitting a home run in a little league baseball game.

Basic protection for Elgin's abused or neglected children is funded by the provincial government. But where basic services end, the Elgin Children's Foundation's work begins.
