The Elgin Children's Foundation is committed to helping meet the needs of abused and neglected children. Funds donated to the Children's Foundation are used in one of two ways - to enhance provincial programs and to contribute to special projects. Some of our past and future projects include:

• Camping for underprivileged children in Elgin County,
  including Kamping 4 Kidz, our recently launched camp endowment fund
• Public education on child abuse or neglect
• Top-ups to provincially funded programs
• Capital purchases which benefit children
• Financial assistance for former wards of the Crown now receiving post-secondary education
• Research
• Projects to prevent child abuse or neglect, such as Speak Don't Spank booklets
